We’re looking for a Service Delivery Lead (GOCC Data Office) to join our team at MBPS. The Technical Lead for the Data Office Engineer team will be responsible for overseeing Level 1 troubleshooting tasks and serving as the escalation point to Level 2. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our data operations, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed and escalated when necessary. This position supports the broader departmental function by ensuring data reliability and supporting seamless operations.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders on data strategy and timelines.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Implement data architecture to support warehousing, analytics, and reporting.
• Optimize data processes for performance and cost-effectiveness, ensuring quality.

Required Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years of data engineering experience, with a proven track record in leadership or mentoring roles.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala and experienced with ETL tools and data pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, Spark). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Certified Data Fundamentals or equivalent are preferred.
