Job Description

As a Team Lead at Rockwell Automation, you will lead a small team of full-time employees and contractors, guiding them to deliver high-quality results in alignment with our business goals. You will be responsible for team performance, coaching and development, resource planning, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. In addition, you will have a technical role in the team contributing to the delivery of high quality software.

This role reports to the Sr Software Engineering Manager and is located in Pune, India.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of full-time employees and contractors to achieve project and organizational objectives.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Design and develop software solutions that meet the requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure team members have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive results.
  • Support the professional growth and career development of team members.
  • Uphold Rockwell Automation's values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Object-oriented coding skills (C#, .Net, Java, Typescript)
  • Experience leading or managing teams
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products, services, or industry
