You will lead a global team in their efforts to position HP as a destination of choice for diverse talent.

What you’ll do

  • Manage, in spire, and motivate three small teams that oversee diversity programs, channels, partnership, and events, and diversity recruiting strategy.  

  • Oversee program design, recruitment, and delivery on unique programs for diverse talent, including veterans, professionals returning to the workforce, apprentices, and people with disabilities.

  • Guide and direct the work of the Channels, Partnerships and Events team including strategy, selection, implementation, and execution for partnerships such as Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the conference events that align to them.

  • Working with our Diversity Recruiting Strategists, oversee global diversity hiring including talent attraction, acquisition through hiring events, university hiring, tools, recruiter education, diversity job board selection, recruiter and manager education, and training,

  • Participate in ad hoc global diversity initiatives providing guidance and program oversight.

  • Develop and maintain team budget, including the quarterly reconciliation process—collaborating with our operations team.

  • Monitor hiring forecasts to align strategies with global company hiring goals and location strategies.

  • Participate in vendor selection and management for key diversity partners and job boards.

  • Participate in the US based Affirmative Action Planning process.

  • Maintain clearly defined metrics, that showcase results against goals and impact.

  • Partner with recruiting, human resources, Business Resource Groups, and all business units to align resources, programs, and strategies to achieve company goals.

  • Create presentations using PowerPoint and present in frequent meetings to showcase team initiatives and drive alignment and adoption.

  • Strive to continuously inspire and educate your team and our stakeholders on best practices for hiring and retaining diverse populations.

Your experience

  • First level university degree

  • 10+ years of relevant team and program management experience with a preference for some HR and/or recruiting experience to bring value to the team on Day One.

  • Office of Diversity experience a plus.

The base pay range for this role is $102,500 - 148,650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
