This senior-level role focuses on enhancing organizational security postures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, responding to evolving cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with global standards. Drawing from Accenture's security practices and similar roles in consulting firms, you will contribute to transformative projects, providing innovative solutions to complex security challenges while supporting clients in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security solutions that align with organizational needs, including infrastructure hardening, application security controls, and enterprise-wide protections.

  • Govern the use of enterprise security tools, architecture frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistent application across projects.

  • Build and enhance digital identity management, platform security measures, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and systems.

  • Develop and execute strategies for data protection, cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and encryption methodologies.

  • Establish and manage a Security Operations Center (SOC) for proactive threat detection, incident response, and cyber threat mitigation.

  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses to identify and remediate potential weaknesses in infrastructure and applications.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT, development, and compliance teams, to integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and agile workflows.

  • Monitor emerging threats through threat intelligence and lead incident response efforts, including root-cause analysis and recovery planning.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and perform audits to maintain security governance.

  • Mentor junior security professionals and contribute to knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in security administration, infrastructure security, or application security roles, preferably in consulting or enterprise environments.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Security Administration and beginner proficiency in Security Strategy & Planning.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk), vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus), and identity management systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).

  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, incident response protocols, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and explain technical risks in business terms.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements (up to 20%).

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud-specific security certifications) are required.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Risk Management and Vulnerability Assessment.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Incident Response and Threat Intelligence.

  • Beginner proficiency in Compliance Management.

  • Experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g., SonarQube, Terraform for secure IaC) and automation scripting (Python, Bash).

  • Familiarity with OT/IT convergence security, zero-trust architectures, and AI-driven threat detection.

  • Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools and frameworks.

At Accenture, we value diversity, innovation, and work-life balance. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, access to cutting-edge security technologies, and the chance to work on global projects that make a real difference in protecting enterprises from cyber threats.
