The Treasury Analyst is an integral part of the team responsible for managing the short term financing and cash management related activities for the Enbridge group of Companies. Primary responsibility is supporting the US Cash Management team with the maintenance and reconciliation of the cash forecasts for all the US-based entities in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Tasks include preparing the settlement, confirmation and notification of various treasury transactions, preparation of Treasury reporting and developing tools to assist in cash forecasting.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepares daily reconciliation and cash forecasts for all US-based entities to determine daily funding requirements. This process requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Prepares the notification and confirmation of various Treasury transactions including commercial paper, credit facility loans, long-term debt, foreign exchange and intercompany transactions.

  • Prepares all wire payments for daily settlement of various Treasury transactions.

  • Prepares and maintains transaction records and reporting in Treasury systems (e.g. Kyriba, Openlink, SAP) to support daily and month-end reporting.

  • Will begin to develop external relationships with Money Market dealers and with credit facility and external debt administrators as experience progresses.

  • Works closely and builds relationships throughout the organization via regular interaction with Accounting, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Tax and other functional groups to ensure accuracy and timeliness of cash forecasts and smooth execution of financial transactions.
     

Who You Are:

Required:

  • University Degree with a financial orientation preferred.

  • 1 - 2 years of progressive experience in a Treasury/Finance related field.

  • Enrollment in a business/finance professional designation would be beneficial.

  • Demonstrated understanding of finance related concepts, products and terminology.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced, dynamic and high volume environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

  • Strong computer skills including the ability to quickly become proficient in the use and optimization of Treasury systems (Kyriba, Openlink, various web banking platforms). Oracle / SAP experience would be beneficial.
     

Working Conditions:

Dynamic and fast paced office environment with tight deadlines. Early start time (6:30 AM) to coincide with Eastern markets. Will be required to work on some statutory holidays (i.e.: Jan. 1 and July 1).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
