Develops and leads corporate, commercial and institutional marketing initiatives to deliver customer-centric, multi-channel marketing programs to maximize client prospecting and deepen client engagement. Partners with cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders and vendors to develop, source and fulfill campaign plan needs, including creative development, content, social, paid media and email marketing. Successfully negotiates contracts and activates vendor relationships alongside internal agency resources. Oversees campaign execution, from briefing and tactic development through launch and ongoing maintenance to ensure activations are aligned with and meeting marketing and business goals. Works across channel activation teams to monitor key performance indicators to ensure marketing plans are yielding positive return on investment and leads modifications across channels as necessary. Adapts resource allocations to meet departmental plans and priorities to address agility and operational efficiency. Calendars initiatives and manages across complex support teams and related timelines. Builds partnerships with business leads, segment-specific relationship managers, performance marketing and channel activation teams to launch marketing programs that resonate with the corporate, commercial and institutional audience and support business growth goals.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the execution, launch and optimization of always-on marketing strategies and campaigns across channels and platforms.
Lead briefing process to ensure campaign assets and activations are aligned with marketing and business goals.
Partner with cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders and vendors to fulfill campaign needs across specialized functions, including creative, content, social and email marketing execution.
Collaborate with teams and vendors to ensure go-to-market messaging is consistent, compelling and aligned with business and marketing goals.
Help manage the development of creative marketing assets, such as advertisements, emails, video, social media content, and digital assets, ensuring they are on-brand and resonate with target audiences.
Manage complex launch and maintenance timelines to oversee the development of go-to-market assets across channels of marketing, ensuring a seamless user experience while identifying new opportunities and optimizing for growth.
Help identify critical performance indicators for each campaign to ensure proper measurement, data tracking against desired business outcomes and return on investment goals for a given execution.
Monitor critical performance indicators and is responsible for identifying and executing timely creative updates and channel optimizations to always-on marketing programs to optimize performance.
Adapts with marketing and media priorities to address agility, resource, and operational challenges.
Strategize approach around the integration of new technologies, systems and tools to enhance marketing campaign performance.
Manage to paid media and creative services budget as required.
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure marketing programs are in accordance with all laws, regulations, and bank policies.
Support leadership in managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of related experience in marketing with proven ability to deliver results
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Five or more years experience in B2B marketing Advanced knowledge of corporate, commercial and institutional banking audience, competitive market and financial services operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and team building skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Agility in thinking and delivery, along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to delegate and successfully manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
