Role Description:

As the Technical Operation Program Manager, Contracts and Materials, you will head up our contract, material, and support management for our deployment and operations organizations. This program, which spans our Engineering, Operations, Construction, and Last Mile rollouts, is vital to the success of GFiber as we expand and maintain our network. In this role, you will mix organization, leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to work cross-product and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring our contracts, procurement, and management of materials and deliverables for our deployments and operations are aligned, run efficiently, and within budget. 

 

In this role, you’ll: 


  • Draft, negotiate, review, explain, and organize contracts, monitoring for amounts, termination dates, and specifications, with internal and external business partners.
  • Build a system for the organization and monitor of GFiber contracts.
  • Build a system for the consigned materials workflow and tracking.
  • Ensure inventory is ordered, managed and maintained at optimal levels and GFiber standards are followed for the Materials department, while accounting for current and future projects.
  • Operate and communicate across multiple internal GFiber groups and external organizations to ready and implement operational processes.

 

At a minimum we’d like you to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience in successfully developing and managing the full lifecycle of contract oversight, including budgeting, forecasting costs, project reporting (costs, status and risks), consigned procurement and negotiating with contractors and vendors. 
  • 10 years of influencing stakeholders and leading projects within the Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil and Gas or other capital project related industries. 
  •  8 years of vendor management experience (e.g., RFx, contract negotiations, scope management, etc.).

 

It’s preferred if you have: 

  • PMP or MBA or advanced degree. 
  • Experience in operational improvement and process/workflow development. 
  • Experience in analytics or finance.
  • Experience with setting budgets and forecasting costs. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $130,000 - $143,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
