OVERVIEW OF THE TEAM

The Private Wealth Management Investment Management Business Operations & Enablement team is responsible for Investment Platforms, Technology, Operations and Digital Enablement for PIA and PIC and is accountable to ensure:

  • Alignment with business strategy
  • Profitable management of key flagship products
  • Exceptional client and wealth advisor experiences

 To deliver a best-in-class investment solutions platform, we focus on:

  • Product & Pricing strategy, development, and management
  • On-going advisor / product / pricing / process optimization
  • P&L management
  • Distribution support

 We support investment professionals who deliver exceptional client experiences by providing:

  • Competitive products & pricing that meet client needs
  • Sales support including product / process training and communications
  • Market updates and tools to facilitate client conversations

JOB DESCRIPTION


The Intern will support the team with some or all the following activities:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager, Wealth Advice Pricing with special projects and initiatives aimed at improving advisor and client experience for TD Wealth fee-based solutions
  • Review of our product & pricing manuals, website and intranet with a goal of simplifying and updating existing content
  • Responding in a timely manner to requests and enquiries for product & pricing information from advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Conducting reviews of fee & pricing administration processes and developing and implementing recommendations to simplify advisor experience

Assigned Line of Business Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a University or College program within Economics, Business or Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results and end to end execution of projects.
  • Developing effective presentations for delivering results and driving strategic thinking to projects to execute
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, with ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience/ strong knowledge of MS Office particularly, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A self-starter and quick learner who can work well independently or in a group atmosphere
  • Team player with strong ability to develop and maintain relationships across functional lines
