Job Summary 

Security and Safety is dedicated to providing quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency.

Work Model

This position will be located 100% on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintains information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards
  • Reviews, develops, and implements security plans for existing and new computer assets
  • Coordinates and performs information security inspections, tests, and reviews
  • Supports the implementation and development of an organizations’ IT security
  • Ensures Aerospace and Government security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced with the ability to translate complex Aerospace and Government customer requirements into necessary technical and security solutions
  • Coordinate and perform information system security inspections, technical assessments with reporting to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
  • Conduct evaluation and analysis of software/hardware intended for use on the secured IT assets
  • Conduct and perform auditing review, analysis, and maintain procedures of secure IT assets
  • Communicate regularly with Aerospace and Government customers to obtain status of requests and facilitate completion of requests
  • Briefs employees on the IS systems, and ensures users have appropriate security clearance and access to information.
  • Investigates and reports IS security incidents and ensures proper protection or corrective measures have been taken

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for Information Assurance Specialist III: 

  • High School Diploma with 3 or more years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of experience​
  • In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure principles
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Security+ security certification or other IAM level I DOD 8570 certification
  • Provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives
  • Current TS/SCI and ability to be briefed and maintain accesses at the Special Access Program level.  Clearance is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. 

Minimum Requirements for Information Assurance Specialist IV:

  • DoD 8570/8140 IAM level II certification
  • Experience with the RMF process, NIST 800-53, DAAPM, NISPOM, JSIG or related IA doctrine
  • In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems
  • In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure principles
  • Provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives
  • Current TS/SCI and ability to be briefed and maintain accesses at the Special Access Program level.  Clearance is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. 

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
  • Have successfully taken a strong portfolio of systems through the complete RMF process
  • Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with providing incident response by investigating and reporting classified messaging incidents
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.  The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.  Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$87,256.96 - $155,000.00
