JR55547 ATCP Capacity Industrial Snr Engineer/EngineerAs an Assembly and Test Central Capacity Planning (ATCP) Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be in charge of PC DRAM component assembly network capacity
Key deliverables:
drive various capacity improvement activities to meet flexcap target
drive capacity related fill rate 100%,
network MSR capacity balance to make the budget and network assets transfer plan
influence accuracy of Supply Planning Optimization (SPO) loading by site, advise network loading by site strategy through min loading, step up step down and the vertical integration optimization logics.
take on continuous improvement projects
Key job elements
Monitor SPO solve for short term, analyze CSM bucket report to ensure that manufacturing sites have the needed capacity to perform as planned.
Understand the implications of modeling assumptions in CSM and SPO. Understand Capacity parameters of Utilization, EPT, load size, lot size, etc.
Monitor SPO fill rate and resolve capacity issues impacting the 100% target.
CSM to SPO master data linkage and drive the quality data input. Monitor SPO solve by sites, and work with supply chain team to influence/improve SPO solve quality.
Support tactical planning team whenever there is capacity challenge to meet revenue.
Influence decision making process to optimize the network capacity. Quarterly/Monthly to support network MSR/budgeting/funding activity via network capacity balancing. Coordinate sites to optimize Capital Process by initiating asset transfers in the global network.
Drive Benchmarking Process. Work with site IE, MFG and Engineering to understand and close the gaps in workstation performance.
Work with Scenario planning team to execute strategy, and advise sites/other teams on the strategy implementation.
Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, with at least 1year experience in semiconductor manufacturing
Understand capacity modeling concept.
Strong analytical skills
Able to efficiently perform what-if analysis and provide data driven recommendations.
Good in written communication and presentation skills
Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, etc.
