Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Skills Enhancement Coach - Mechanical (MQ-25) within Air Dominance in Berkeley, MO!
As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Skill Enhancement team. You will maintain positive relationships with multi-function team leaders and drive a deep understanding of the One Boeing Production System principles and standards, production health, and problem solving.

Position Responsibilities:
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.
Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
Works under general direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Initial work location will be in St. Louis, MO and will transition to Mascoutah, Illinois (Mid-America Airport) when the program relocates.
Shift Work:
This position is for a variable shift.
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
5+ years of mechanical experience with as a machinist, mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes
Experience with components manufacturing/installation/maintenance
Completed a blueprint reading class
Experience with aircraft unique tools such as support equipment/test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators
Experience reading and interpreting technical data
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback
Understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality
Works well in a collaborative team environment
Has the ability to adjust course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
