Supervises: Talent Acquisition Department

Pay Range: $130,000-$135,000

Job Summary: The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This role collaborates with leadership to forecast hiring needs, enhance the employer brand, and ensure a seamless recruitment process that aligns with the company’s culture and business objectives.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Develops and implements talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals and workforce planning.
  • Collaborates with leadership to forecast hiring needs and prioritize recruitment efforts.
  • Manages the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for all levels of the organization.
  • Leads employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates and promote the company culture.
  • Builds and maintains a talent pipeline for key roles and ensures proactive recruitment strategies are in place.
  • Oversees relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to maximize reach.
  • Develops and tracks recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
  • Manages the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Provides training and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and recruitment best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Prepares and presents reports on hiring trends and talent acquisition performance to senior leadership.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting methods, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to develop and manage recruitment metrics to measure performance and success.
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles and meet hiring deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Workday experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily works in an office environment with frequent use of computers and recruitment software.
  • May require occasional travel for career fairs, conferences, or recruiting events.
  • Frequently interacts with employees, candidates, and leadership teams both in-person and virtually.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary to accommodate interview schedules and hiring needs.
