The Central Control Organization (CCO) was established to drive enterprise-wide solutions to address deficiencies in Managers Control Assessments (MCA). This includes governance of MCA program health, reporting and execution of procedural requirements. The CCO’s goals are aligned to Operational and Compliance risk reduction by creating a robust control environment, while driving efficiency and consistency throughout the enterprise.

As a member of the MCA Governance & Insights team, this person will be responsible for driving the  alignment/integration of internal risk assessments into MCA.  The person will also be expected to actively contribute to MCA Transformation implementation efforts, including those relating to:

  • Risk and Control Reference Library (RCRL) that contains high-level identification of risks and controls for operational and compliance risks
  • Global Process MCA profiles (GPMP) that standardize risk and control assessments for Citi’s processes
  • Global Assessment/sub-assessment unit (GAU/SAU) structures that are the recipients of GPMP content
  • Control inventory - a repository of all controls across the enterprise.

  • Determine and manage the BAU impact of process/risk/control taxonomy changes on business/function’s risk and control identification, assessment and reporting.
  • Co-develop new strategies and procedures for driving control standardization, centralization and automation that also reduce the need for customization.
  • Lead and/or actively contribute to transition from Implementation phase to BAU for MCA Transformation initiatives.
  • Timely escalation of concerns (with potential solutions) to senior management
