We are looking for a Business Intern to assist with tasks in our Accounts Payable (AP) and Vendor Management organization at Xcel Energy. 

• Validation of incoming invoices through Business Capture Center for AP processing

• Researching and resolving exception related invoices 

• Reconciling Vendor Statements for timely invoice processing as well identifying any missed payments 

• Contacting vendor to request missing invoices 

• Submitting invoices into the AP system to be validated and processed

• Create and maintain Vendor master data in SAP

• Banking Request SharePoint submittals

• Conversion of Wires and checks to ACH

This opportunity will begin during the school year and will extend into the summer months. The candidate should be able to work full-time during the summer.  If the intern works during the school year, their hours should be part-time.
 

Minimum Requirements:

Enrolled in programs such as supply chain, advertising, marketing, safety and health, management, human resources, training, labor relations, public relations, government relations, business administration, legal and regulatory compliance and similar.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $17.80 per hour
