We are seeking a candidate who will lead the release and growth of an innovative new title that will captivate players globally. 

As the Senior Manager, Social and Influencer Marketing for the new title, you will be the driving force behind social media and influencer marketing – from, announce, to launch, to rapid growth. This role will have a thought leadership position inside the organization, playing a key part in building the new game’s brand.

The ideal candidate will have deep social media or influencer marketing experience at an agency or on the client-side in the gaming, entertainment or tech industries. They have demonstrated creative and strategic prowess. This position requires an expert in digital marketing who is a proactive self-starter constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and clever ideas to build and delight passionate player communities. They will have familiarity with other aspects of marketing such as paid media and influencers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead social media strategy development and execution for a new title, including, but not limited to: Twitter, Instagram, Discord, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, and Snapchat

  • Lead influencer marketing strategy development and execution for a new title, including, but not limited to: core influencer community building, as well as earned and paid influencer marketing. 

  • Manage creative production, overseeing content review, as well as ensuring executional success across internal and external creative teams

  • Bring new and big ideas to the table with a digital first mindset, as well as collaboratively build on others’ concepts to deliver game engagement and build passion for the new title

  • Partner with Global Marketing leads to prioritize opportunities and set digital marketing goals in support of key marketing beats

  • Organize the global social and influencer ontentl calendar and operation, aligning key stakeholders

  • Define and update social and influencer best practices, informing and aligning regional partners on global strategy to tailor and optimize market-specific strategies and tactics

  • Work effectively with internal cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and Partnerships to drive 360 campaigns

  • Drive social and influencer reporting, insights, and delivery through the use of analytics tools, including Sprinklr

  • Utilize learnings to inform and support the creative approach, as well as drive KPI's across platforms and campaigns

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in social or influencer marketing at an agency or on the client-side as a Social Strategist or Influencer Marketer within Gaming or Entertainment industries.

  • Proven experience building and executing social or influencer strategies from announce to launch – resulting in a passionate fan community that impactfully advocates for the new title even before it hits the market. 

  • Experience collaborating within a large organization, driving creative work with multiple internal departments and 3rd party agencies/ partners

  • Highly organized and very detail-oriented with solid project and budget management experience

  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and overall enthusiasm for gaming

  • Experience managing direct reports and/or working with 3rd Party agencies

  • Appetite for all things digital, social and influencer -- up to date on the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement

  • Understanding of social and influencer and ability to develop marketing briefs that inspire cutting edge creative work

  • Fluency in both the creative and analytical sides of digital marketing with working knowledge of social platforms and tools such as Sprinklr and native platform analytics tools

  • Self-starter mentality and track-record for clever social ideas with desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement

  • Ability to effectively interact with internal/external stakeholders and all levels of management with exceptional skills in preparing and presenting materials across varying audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing or equivalent field.
