Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Analytics to lead Analytics for BILL’s Core Products and Partner Channels - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the Accountant Channel. You will be instrumental in influencing our product roadmap, and responsible for developing a mature data organization to drive measurable business outcomes, enhance customer experiences, and team accountability through actionable insights.

  • Lead the direction and vision for the Product & AC Analytics team. Identify opportunities, set priorities, and establish goals to influence strategy, maximizing effectiveness & efficiency
  • Elevate the current analytics team talent via coaching, recruiting, optimization, and leading by example. Expect and motivate for team greatness, establishing operational rigor & discipline to develop a world class analytics organization
  • Streamline reporting, identifying manual effort for automation and reducing stakeholder friction to actionable insights & product/customer understanding
  • Consolidate & harden Key Performance Indicator metrics for Product & AC Analytics, and simplify business performance understanding for end users/business partners 
  • Build rapport & trust with business partners, and provide strategic value through consultative recommendations 
  • Establish test & learn culture, and contribute platform enhancements that enable higher velocity experimentation 
  • Drive parallel efforts balancing immediate stakeholders needs in the near term and building for durable solutions/paying down tech debt for the long term

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Experience in product analytics including customer journey, user behavior, and product lifecycle 
  • Proven track record as an effective leader & teacher, optimizing team impact, growing individuals, and increasing scope through value added 
  • Ability to disambiguate the nebulous into clarity and communicate through exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, including ability to prepare materials for audiences at all levels of the organization 
  • Understanding of how foundational data architecture impacts all products and processes downstream, and have experience building optimized foundations 
  • 10+ years of analytics leadership, and 5+ years of people leadership experience to deliver business driving insight through actionable insights and test & learn opportunities
  • SQL and Tableau required; econometrics, Python, R, predictive modeling preferred 
  • You love data, like to have fun, and are a realistic optimist – you have an attitude of “yes we can” and a track record of “yes we did” 
  • You are tenacious and utilize innovative thinking to solve for barriers
  • Fintech experience a plus

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$212,200$265,200 USD
