PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

At Travel + Leisure our vision is to put the world on vacation. In your position as the Rental Program Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate resort inventory for Club Wyndham Resorts within multiple systems including but not limited to IRIS, Merlin and SiteMinder, to ensure the smooth operation of daily procedures within Club Guidelines for the Developer Rental Program

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

  • Thorough understanding of company/department policies and procedures, in particular Club Wyndham South Pacific and Club Wyndham Asia guidelines and regulations (per Governing Documents)

  • A complete understanding of hotel/resort inventory and reservations. Ability to manage hotel/resort inventory within a reservations program

  • Managing the room allotments within multiple hotels/resorts to support the Developer Rental program and club, including room release-back

  • Report on credits required for inventory and create supporting transactions to back movement of inventory (deposit and withdrawal)

  • Liaising with other relevant stakeholders in relation to managing Developer Rental Inventory

  • Month-end reporting to support fax pool reporting

  • Accurate preparation, analysis and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports

  • An understanding on how to manually book/amend/cancel/manage reservations between multiple systems including but not limited to Opera, IRIS, SiteMinder and OTA Extranets and cross check between each system

  • Attend relevant training as required in relation to the role

  • Carry out other tasks as may reasonably be requested by the Revenue Manager, Revenue Analyst, Director of Revenue & Distribution and other supporting roles where necessary  

  • Be able to support the Reservations Assistant when required

  • Report any unsafe practices, incidents or accidents on the appropriate forms to the OH&S Consultant immediately

  • Confidence and leadership in role to put forward new initiatives and strategies that will improve on each hotels performance

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • Ability to work with other divisions & managers within the company

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally & in writing

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • An understanding of the Hospitality and Property Industries (preferred Hotel experience)

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent time management, organization & presentation skills
