Description -
End to End responsibility for managing HP’s platforms which promote and enable collaboration. This includes technologies such as Zoom Videoconferencing, Microsoft M365 suite which includes Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Viva Engage. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization by maintaining these platforms, providing user support, and implementing best practices. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that the platform meets the organization’s needs and supports its business objectives. Configures, integrates, and tests collaboration platforms to ensure they are ready for seamless integration with both existing and new business applications, aligning technical and business requirements.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses within HP’s collaboration platforms.
Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of HP’s collaboration platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these collaboration platforms and services.
Implement and maintain HP's security best practices and standards to protect data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Provide end-user training and support to enhance productivity and user satisfaction.
Demonstrates technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g. Active Directory, Exchange, Database Administration).
Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate HP’s collaboration platforms with other enterprise systems.
Stay up to date with the platform latest features and updates and implement them as appropriate.
Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize our collaboration platform.
Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HP and customers.
Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for using HP’s collaboration platforms.
Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customers and vendors on complex issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or other related fields.
Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or in a similar role with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Via Engage.
Experience with Zoom Video conferencing platform.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with end-users and other IT professionals.
Proactive approach to system management and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or Associate level certifications.
