About Client Services: The Client Services team is part of our Yahoo Ads Sales organization. Our team’s core pillars are to build advertising relationships, deliver against and grow revenue, and exceed client expectations while driving success against their business. Our team consists of experts on our Demand Side Platform who thrive on finding ways to hit our clients KPI’s and bring their goals to life. What We’re Looking for: We are seeking a talented and driven Client Services Lead to join Yahoo, a company revolutionizing global advertising through its media-buying platform. In this role, you will partner with the Sales & Client Services teams in managing and growing key accounts, collaborating with internal teams to provide strategic recommendations, data-driven insights, and exceptional client service. You will also work independently to help identify performance, revenue, and new feature opportunities that help foster long-term success for your client(s). Your expertise in The Yahoo DSP empowers you to offer optimization guidance, provide training to our clients, and contribute to enhancing the platform. 

Your professional demeanor and developed interpersonal and communication skills make you an expert in building relationships with external clients and driving cross-functional cooperation with internal teams. You can manage multiple complex projects, teams, and clients – whether they call for organizational skills, ability to prioritize, statistical analysis, or business acumen – and you’re always ready to make an impact. At Yahoo, client relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable Client Services Lead to maintain and grow client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. A Day in the Life:

Serve as advertiser point-of-contact for all campaign-related inquiries from start to finish of the campaign lifecycle by owning tasks and leveraging support teams. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Lead a portfolio of accounts, operating as a “small business owner” to grow clients’ business

  • Become an expert on the Yahoo DSP and demonstrate proficiency across the Yahoo product and feature suite including but not limited to Programmatic Display, Advanced TV, Native, DOOH, OLV, Commerce Media, and other emerging channels 

  • Collaborate effectively with the Sales, Associate Client Services & other job functions to develop and grow existing accounts and achieve client goals and objectives

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with brand and agency clients as a consultant to their business

  • Monitor and influence campaign delivery and performance, troubleshoot and escalate delivery and performance issues, and provide optimization and up-selling opportunities for campaigns

  • Develop and provide Strategic Insights, Campaign Wrap-ups, and/or Quarterly Business Reviews to client(s) 

  • Own the training plan for new clients as well as continued training for existing clients

  • Represent client needs by providing feedback to Product Solutions to identify and define features, integrations, and product improvements

  • Lead and be proactive, not just manage tasks; think multiple steps ahead to move an account forward

What we're Looking For:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience

  • 3-5+ years of sales/marketing experience; digital advertising or related experience

  • A background working with clients and/or in a client services role

  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing and optimizing campaigns by analyzing client ROI/ CPA goals and data, media buying cycles, Website architecture, and product/ service update schedules to achieve client goals

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding computer skills including advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Excel Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills & ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to creatively solve problems and uncover opportunities through the use of data, analytics, and critical thinking.

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, campaign development and management, and a dedication to stay current on industry trends.

  • Experience servicing and/or consulting in a vendor/client relationship.

The compensation for this position ranges from $87,750.00 - $182,500.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
