Your mission

As a working student or Mandatory Internship (Pflichtpraktikum) in the People Operations team, you'll be right in the middle of supporting our employees at every stage of their employment. You'll collaborate with an international team and gain insights into modern People & Culture processes across Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and the US. Our People & Culture team is united by three core characteristics: Honesty, Fairness and Humor. Together, we are shaping the human-centered workplace of tomorrow!

We are looking for: A working student for 15-20 hours per week - starting immediately, limited to 6 months (we are also open to up to 6 months Mandatory Internship)

Responsibilities

  • Support in daily People Operations tasks (administering our HRIS tool Personio; handling Workation requests)

  • Create and administer documents; administer personnel files

  • Create internal documentation for our "Wikipedia"

  • Support with office management tasks

  • Assist in the optimization and automation of processes

  • Contribute your own ideas to improve efficiency

We are looking for:

  • You’re still a full-time student, Bachelor or Master, currently studying HR Management, Business Administration, Business Law, or Management Sciences (we are also open to up to 6 months Mandatory Internship) and have at least 1 year of studies left

  • You live in the Berlin/Brandenburg area and are willing to work from our rooftop terraced office in Berlin-Mitte at least twice a week

  • You are interested in modern HR processes and find payroll, contract management, and international labor law exciting

  • You work independently, reliably, and with attention to detail

  • You have a technical understanding and/or are used to working with modern tools (Google Suite, Slack, Confluence, Trello)

  • You speak fluent German (C1/C2) and have very good English skills (our daily business language)

The Perks

  • Our culture: Yes, this may sound cheesy - but our eNPS of 47+ speaks for itself and the collaborative and open work environment we’ve created. We have a strong feedback culture to ensure your growth.

  • Hybrid Work: We operate in a flexible hybrid model, combining the best of both worlds (you can find us at Hausvogteiplatz in Berlin).

  • Work from Abroad: We support you in working from almost anywhere, allowing up to 40 days outside your home country.

  • Generous Leave Policy: Our minimum is 26 days, with an “unlimited policy” to help you balance work and life. Plus, the 24th and 31st of December are considered half working days.

  • Health & Wellbeing: We offer a discounted membership to the Urban Sports Club to support your wellbeing.

  • Full productivity: Select your setup - Apple, Windows - and follow your preference!

A Final Word:

Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds may refrain from applying for positions if they feel they don't meet all qualifications. We strongly encourage you to apply if you’re interested: we're excited to discover how your distinctive experience can enhance our team!

We work as one team. Wherever you come from. However, you identify. We believe in equal opportunities.

We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief. We make hiring decisions based on your experience, skills, and personality. We believe that employing a diverse workforce is the right thing to do and is central to our success.
