Your responsibilities

As the Technical Product Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our braking and remanufacturing product offer. Your responsibilities extend beyond managing the New & Remanufactured/Repair product portfolio; you’ll also be a key player in understanding the aftermarket, driving innovation, and ensuring profitable growth in both the Original Equipment Service (OES) and Independent Aftermarket (IAM) segments. Here are the key tasks associated with this role:

Product Portfolio Management:

  • You will play a pivotal role in defining strategy and shaping our braking product offerings to increase market share, including New & Remanufactured/Repair products.

  • Ensure alignment with market demands, technological trends, and customer needs.

  • Optimize the product range to enhance competitiveness.

Market Understanding:

  • Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and pain points and dive deep into the aftermarket

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Innovation and Solutions:

  • Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams 

  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality and performance.

Profitable Growth:

  • Strategically position on Valeo products to maximize revenue.

  • Balance cost-effectiveness with customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market share and adjust strategies accordingly.

Market Anticipation:

  • Stay ahead of market needs, emerging products, and technological advancements.

  • Anticipate future trends and adapt the product portfolio proactively.

End-Consumer Engagement:

  • Support end-consumer studies to gain valuable insights.

  • Communicate product benefits effectively.

  • Participate in external events to showcase Valeo’s innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong automotive experience, especially in the remanufactured market.

  • Ability to identify new growth opportunities and connect with customer needs.

  • Innovative thinking and a customer-centric approach.

  • Proficiency in English at a professional level.
