ABOUT THE JOB
You will execute the strategy and build the assortment for your assigned geo in close partnership with Merchandising peers, the Commercial team, Planning, Marketing, and BX. You’ll bring our “execute with impact” strategy to life—ensuring the assortment shows up in the most meaningful, consumer-centric way. By reviewing product performance weekly, you’ll take timely actions to maximize sell-out/sell-through and translate insights into future assortment strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Align with X functional partners (planning, marketing, BX) to ensure efficient and impactful execution in the DTC stores, ensuring assortment come to life in the most compelling and impactful way.
- Be the voice of the consumers and identify strategic opportunities to increase our fan base and engage with new consumers.
- Drive consumer right assortment and DTC segmentation strategies that will drive a profitable and sustainable growth for your respective markets and gender while building impactful Monthly product stories, generating brand heat, commercial opportunities, in line with the big ideas of the season and SBP strategy, taking into account market specificities and consumer targets.
- Provide an informed POV, based on consumer insights, market trends and product results for the development of the product seasonal brief, identify gaps and eventually initiate local product development needs.
- Own the results (assortment performance and productivity) and analyze product performance on a weekly basis, sell-out results, ROS, Sell-through, drive the pricing strategy and monitor pricing elasticity to determine needs, in season actions and future opportunities. Based on weekly sell-out performance, drive action plan in close collaboration with trading team and take the learnings to inform future assortment strategy.
- Support Left to sell reduction in collaboration with trading team, take in season actions to drive incremental business while reducing inventory risks, maximizing sell-through while protecting the Brand equity.
- Implement the Execute with impact strategy in store in close collaboration with cross functional teams, planning & trading team, commercial , marketing and BX team.
- Execute an effective Go-to-market strategy in line with Global guidelines by category, style, color, price and flow. Assort efficiently with right seasonal & Monthly flow, ensuring buy now wear now strategy maximizing sell-out and sell-through at full price.
- Maintenance of line plans, range plans, directive assortment, PLM, systems and tools management in collaboration with Merch ops and pricing / analytics team.
- Deliver the product presentation at internal meetings, ensure an inspiring and consistent message that builds brand equity and strengthens Levi’s® position in the market.
- Explore business opportunities that can support the SBP, support the Tops growth beyond graphic tees and fleece and contribute gaining market share in tops while strengthening our Denim leadership and driving a true lifestyle approach.
- Demonstrate LS& Co values and Merchandising signature behaviors (Courage, Empathy and resilience) especially when faced with challenges.
- Develop and onboard the more junior profiles, ensuring best in class induction process, sharing your expertise and experience
- Be the best thought partner for your peers and continuously stay informed on consumer trends, customer needs, product performance and Retail KPI’s to properly inform and adapt the product assortment.
- Be a true team player, sharing best practices and onboarding newcomer, create one team spirit and build strong relationship and partnership with your peers and cross functional stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
- Excellent knowledge of merchandising in apparel, market expertise, Retail KPI’s, price and margin targets.
- Knowledge in stories layouts, options management, VM/ BX to maximize in store execution.
- Developed sense of fashion and apparel taste, understanding different consumers targets.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills- includes influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates high degree of flexibility and initiative
- English is a must, other languages skills are a plus
- Desire to work for a world class merchandising team.
- A curious mind, passion to learn, team player and a love of product.
- Proficiency with MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint &Excel) and analytical tools (Power Bi, Tableau…)
- Willing to travel of approx. 10-20%
This is a hybrid position based in our Brussels, Belgium office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is €48,800.00 - €55,000.00 per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency.
