Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Innovation Manager, UK/Benelux

Position Overview:
The Clinical Healthcare Innovation Manager will be responsible for advancing our in-country clinical strategy in line with (and not exclusive to) the NICE Implementation plan, as a resource in the Customer (both HCP and person with diabetes) Pathway, with the aim of increasing product adoption, usage and customer success with Omnipod therapy. This highly knowledgeable, highly skilled individual will be responsible for the tactical delivery of a number of business critical projects supporting this significant opportunity in the UK to allow more people living with diabetes to access our technology.
Responsibilities
· To innovate, direct and deliver on Insulet’s offering for the NICE Implementation plan for HCL including partnership working with the NHS and other professional bodies. Thus supporting HCL technologies to be phased into the NHS in both an equitable and sustainable manner to avoid exacerbation of existing health inequalities.
· Be able to evaluate Diabetes clinical care provision and tactically implement Insulet’s value solutions, whilst leading on innovative methods of demonstrating value based solutions.
· Work cross functionally to design, pilot and launch solutions to assist with diabetes clinical service pathways.
· Partner with Key Opinion Leaders to capture high quality, successful diabetes care with the ability to showcase/demonstrate success, which can be replicated and implemented at scale to drive adoption of HCL therapies.
· Next level Pathway Tool Development- individualisation for Diabetes services.
· Works with the sales and clinical team in region to build knowledge, drive clinical excellence and help to achieve increased uptake of Omnipod and achieve sales goals
· Delivery of education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams, to drive expertise and achieve a best in class service to our customers
· Delivers digital, virtual and face to face training in both group and individual settings.
· Creation of educational material and use of the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content. Training to be provided.
· Promotes the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sells Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers, Key Opinion Leaders and product users
· Works collaboratively with Sales Excellence, Clinical Teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and all functions across Insulet Europe to enhance patient training/ HCP service and value offering.
· Driving consistency, standardisation and simplicity in all regional activity.
· Liaises with Global and international teams to share materials and learnings; and to replicate great practice across the region.
· Ability to perform administrative duties and complete/ turn in on a timely basis.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Relevant experience in the med-tech diabetes field, ideally a combination of sales and clinical.
· Prior industry/commercial experience essential
· Diabetes Technology experience is essential
· Knowledge and experience of the NHS, service delivery and current pathways.
· Fluent in English
· Highly competent in the use of virtual communication computer systems e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx etc.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
• Professional and polished presentation skills (Virtual and F2F)
• Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written.
• Service delivery/ expansion/ transformation change/ lean sigma
• Project management
• Game changing and growth mindset
• Self-started who needs minimal direction; extremely flexible, with good business acumen.
• Proficiency with computers, especially MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, Veeva.
• Dutch or French (spoken and written)- desirable
• Qualified and experienced in producing, and delivering training programs including delivering face to face in classroom and virtual classroom training
• Familiar with Learning Management Systems and Salesforce.com
• Experience in providing clinical education to Health Care Professionals
• Ability to understand the importance of engagement in training and flex to learners differing styles of learning
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen
• Ability to influence others
Physical Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license required.
• This position requires regular business travel within region, at times extensive travel to conduct training events and ‘field visits’
• Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by monthly need (up to 50%)
• The work environment will be, home office and car, as well as the Regional Office for our international markets (Paris, Munich, London). There will be requirement to visit HCPs offices, clinics
