Functional (job responsibilities)

  • To establish closer rapport with existing business banking clients with the goal of increasing utilization of banking facilities and improving profitability;
  • Assess the overall asset quality and credit risk of new credit application and adherence to credit policies and procedures as well as statutory and regulatory guidance;
  • To plan and strategize on marketing activities to enhance existing portfolios at business center;
  • To tap on internal and external networks to support the marketing strategies and attract good business prospects, including networking events, industry conferences and business matching activities;
  • To plan and manage the post approval credit review for existing portfolio to determine soundness of clients’ businesses and potential business opportunity;
  • To actively monitor Pre-NPL / Watch list / High-Risk accounts with the aim of regularizing the account conduct through restructuring / rescheduling of banking facilities or exiting the relationship to prevent / minimize potential loses;
  • To check through the credit applications proposals and credit requests prepared by ARMs/AROs prior to submission to Regional Manager and CED;
  • To ensure ARMs/AROs are prompt in submitting credit applications reviews to minimize delinquency of accounts;
  • To ensure timely submission of various periodic reports to Regional Office / Head Office (Monthly: business center’s performance, marketing calls / new prospects, overdue CA, high risk accounts, star clients’ utilization, Service Quality Index (SQI), Key Result Area (KRA) Performance; Quarterly: Watch List Report).
  • Proactive management, supervision and monitoring of existing customers’ business performance (financials, management, relevant news, etc.) to achieve optimum utilization rate and profitability and escalate any potential credit, operational, legal, compliance or environmental consideration to senior management;

Maintain close coordination with all relevant product partners such as Global Market, Trade Sales, Cash Management and Wealth Banking to identify and realize opportunities across BC’s portfolio
