NA SC FP&A Manager

Job Purpose

 Your key role as North America Supply Chain FP&A Manager, reporting into the Head of Global SC FP&A, is to business partner with the regional SC Finance and commercial teams and enhance business outcomes by providing crucial financial insights, maintaining financial discipline, and leading the regional month end close, budgeting, forecasting processes.

 Performance Management

  • Business partner to Head of SCF NA and market finance and continuously enhance the business performance by challenging assumptions, supporting decision-making, and providing insights and analysis through development of analytics capabilities and market awareness.
  • Steering monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning and analytics. Ensure regular handshakes between key stakeholders for on time in full delivery
  • Being fully involved in the finance month-close process, own data and ensure data integrity and be the linking pin between regional SC Finance and regional FP&A team
  • Deliver regional performance letters to share findings including business improvement recommendations.
  • In Upfield, Value Creation (VC) is one of the key elements for the performance delivery. This role will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and consolidating NA VC projects and be the first point of contact for VC related projects
  • You will work on what-if scenarios in connection with the Market and Supply Chain network change
  • Work on enhancements to the existing tools and reporting to facilitate decision making
  • Navigate and build relationships with key stakeholders. Be a team player and a positive influence on others.

 

Controls, Accounting & Governance

  • Maintain integrity of the data reported
  • Key point of contact for SC Finance and SC Financial Services to liaise with on budgets and forecasts ensuring that all deadlines are achieved
  • Work internally within SC NA Finance team to understand actuals vs forecast/budget and explain key variances & drivers of performance
  • Build relationships with market finance and

About you!

  • Finance business partnering experience in Consumer Goods industry with proven ability to deliver insights and results
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-functional organisation with varied stakeholders (seniority, functional mix)
  • Professional Accounting qualification
  • Experience working in a SAP environment and with BPC
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Delivery-focussed with a high degree of ownership and a positive, growth mindset
  • Collaborative and team-orientated mindset
  • Resilience and ability to manage and navigate through change and uncertainty
  • Insurgent mindset and passion to identify and deliver profitable, growth opportunities
