About Senior Manager, Creative - Seller Education (L&D)

Walmart is seeking an experienced learning and development professional to lead the Seller Education program focused on training eCommerce sellers on Walmart Marketplace tools and solutions. Ideal candidate will be a talented leader who is passionate about educational content and processes and can effectively setup and maintain an ecosystem of educational content to increase seller engagement and help unlock their growth at scale. Analytical skills to attribute and measure the effectiveness of the overall seller education program will be crucial to the success in this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and mapping various seller learning needs and creating end-to-end Marketplace seller learning experiences – personalizing them to different seller lifecycle stages, producing best-in-class multi-media content (digital and video) and measuring the results of the program. The Senior Manager of Seller Education will drive the strategic direction, tactical planning and execution managing a team of content creators and external agencies to develop educational courses, knowledge base articles, instructional videos, and more.

Ability to adapt the program to changing learner needs and to align content with business goals and initiatives will be key to this role. The Senior Manager of Seller Education will maintain content consistency through quality control measures and will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Define/refine Seller Education strategy and plan, regularly report on the progress
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of educational programs and regularly analyze data to assess the impact of educational initiatives on seller performance
  • Act as a single-threaded business owner for the Marketplace Learn CMS and Seller Academy LMS, drive platform enhancements with the product team
  • Design and implement best-in-class learning paths for all new and existing Marketplace sellers
  • Oversee and grow engagement with the Walmart Marketplace educational resources on YouTube
  • Support new product releases with engaging educational content and oversee the content development process to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Regularly audit existing Seller Academy and Marketplace Learn materials to ensure all information is current
  • Research learning needs and identify knowledge gaps for continuous program improvement
  • Manage and mentor the Seller Education internal team, partner with external agencies
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training collateral
  • Research new technics and innovative technology to enhance the production of the educational content

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in training, instructional design or sales enablement, preferably in technology or eCommerce industries
  • 3+ years of managerial experience
  • CMS/LMS experience is a must
  • Analytical and data driven approach
  • Proven ability to master and learn processes and platforms quickly
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Self-starter who has a passion for processes and technical tools
  • Collaborative work ethic as partnership with stakeholders at all levels is key
  • Ability to move fast, in an often ambiguous and fluid environment
  • Experience with CRM tools, CMS (ContentStack preferred), Pendo is a plus
