Credit Risk Review Intern

The Credit Risk Review Summer Internship role will provide an intern with the opportunity to participate in Reviews Continuous Monitoring activities to gain a stronger understanding of assessing credit risk management in commercial and commercial real estate  portfolios within the Banking industry.

This 2025 Summer Internship is a 10-week program for undergraduate or graduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.

Some responsibilities of Credit Risk Review Intern may include but are not limited to: 

  • Review and assess credit files for moderately complex commercial and commercial real estate loan transactions and demonstrate basic understanding of the inherent level and materiality of credit risk.
  • Complete works papers, issue tracking, and exam findings follow-up.
  • Analyze risk in assigned credit portfolios by reviewing relevant management reporting and assessing trends.
  • Participate in continuous monitoring for assigned portfolios.
  • Attend professional training activities provided by the company.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate student or a graduate student with an expected graduation date between Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above with a major in Finance, Accounting or related business field
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytics and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Availability for entire internship program
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

Salary: Undergraduate: $67,600 - $67,600/year

Graduate: $83,200 - $83,200/year
