We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager Distributed Products in Fort Worth, TX. This role manages the development, implementation and operation of a supply stream for a specific product group.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing, implementing, and managing complex supply chain streams with global reach.

  • Managing relationships and processes with suppliers to ensure adequate product supply to meet inventory strategies. Providing support for new supplier selection.

  • Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with clients, business partners and internal functions.

  • Performing analysis of supply chain trends, sales, forecast, on time delivery, and inventory strategies and recommending improvements to the supply chain performance.

Business Markets: Knowledge of existing and planned markets and market-related initiatives from the perspectives of the competition, the suppliers, the customer base and the regulatory environment; ability to apply market knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:

  • Recognizes key players and major competitors in a market.

  • Summarizes strategies related to key operating issues and key players within the market.

  • Researches characteristics of an assigned market and its segments.

  • Monitors regulatory and reporting environment within an assigned market.

Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
Level Extensive Experience:

  • Coaches others on legal, regulatory, and financial issues across multiple countries.

  • Participates in developing current and planned infrastructure for conducting global business.

  • Advises on the application of global policies to regional and local operations.

  • Compares and contrasts opportunities and challenges for countries within a region.

  • Oversees current projects using experience with conducting business in several countries.

  • Coordinates country-specific legal and financial compliance reviews.

Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Level Extensive Experience:

  • Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for own responsibilities.

  • Provides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.

  • Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.

  • Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.

  • Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.

  • Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.


Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Level Basic Understanding:

  • Explains concepts of phase, activity and task.

  • Provides examples of project data that is tracked.

  • Identifies deliverables, resources and dependencies in project plans.

  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of organizational project management practices and tools.


Supply Chain Management - PHA: Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials, components and supplies, and delivery of finished products.
Level Extensive Experience:

  • Demonstrates experience with managing the complete supply chain management process.

  • Quantifies and discusses benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.

  • Discusses capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.

  • Oversees supply chain finance activities and measurements of effectiveness.

  • Participates in supply chain network design or redesign projects or processes.

  • Creates and monitors mechanisms for process and system integration with clients and partners.


Contingency and Disaster Recovery Management: Knowledge of manufacturing contingency and disaster recovery approaches, practices, tools and techniques; ability to develop and administrate contingency and disaster recovery plans.
Level Working Knowledge:

  • Adheres to related processes and procedures in a contingency plan.

  • Executes established procedures necessary to continue operations in an emergency.

  • Schedules, supports, and documents disaster recovery trials and tests.

  • Documents contingency and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Participates in the design and development of a basic contingency and disaster recovery plan for specific environment.


Vendor/Supplier Evaluations & Certification: Knowledge of vendor/supplier evaluations and certification; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for evaluating, selecting and certifying vendors, suppliers and partners.
Level Working Knowledge:

  • Obtains vendor or supplier product or service information.

  • Contacts references for vendors and suppliers; records the resulting information.

  • Searches for vendors or suppliers that match given criteria.

  • Reviews and documents products or services using specific steps.

  • Participates in selecting, evaluating, and certifying a specific vendor/supplier and product/service.
