Job Description

Summary

Bose is looking to add an International Senior Tax Accountant to the Corporate Tax team. This individual will have 3 plus years of corporate tax experience including at least 2 years of international tax experience, a working knowledge of U.S. international tax law, and be able to effectively work with cross functional teams both domestically and globally.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the international components of the U.S. Federal consolidated corporation income tax return
  • Assist with the preparation, review, or calculation of earnings and profits, Subpart F, foreign source income, foreign tax credits, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT and other international tax calculations for provision purposes.
  • Assist with the review Forms 8858, 5471 and other U.S. return disclosures for income tax filings .
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision for Bose’s foreign subsidiaries, including uncertain tax positions.
  • Assist with the calculation of cash taxes paid and the analysis of permanently reinvested foreign earnings
  • Assist with the calculation and analysis of transfer pricing adjustments
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of tax law including the ability to perform tax research and to prepare technical memorandums as required
  • Other tasks as requested

Professional Requirements:

  • 3+ years of corporate tax experience in either a multinational corporate tax department or public accounting firm - Required
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 as it relates to multinational corporations
  • Working knowledge of U.S. international tax law

Experience/Education

  • B.S. degree in Accounting required
  • CPA a plus
  • Masters in Tax, JD, or LLM a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products, SAP, Power BI, OneSource Tax Provision
