We’re currently looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team.  The position will be located at our Nissan North American Headquarters in Franklin, TN.

During the course of your fall internship, you will have the chance to be an integral part of our HR team helping out with a variety of tasks including training administration, employee reward and recognition programs, HR analytics, performance management, special event planning, talent management and much more. This opportunity will allow you to build a general HR skillset to help kick off your career!

Throughout the course of your fall internship, you will have the following opportunities:

  • Enhance your business acumen by supporting a variety of clients such as our Finance, IS/IT, Legal & External Affairs organizations.
  • Learn and practice a variety of common HR processes including but not limited to the recruiting cycle, performance management and development process, and employee engagement and retention activities.
  • Expose you to working with business leaders to facilitate these common HR cycles and implementing HR strategy to facilitate organizational effectiveness.

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

  • Currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or preferably a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Human and Organizational Development, Psychology or related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Work autonomy, strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Workday experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform work onsite at NNA HQ in Franklin, Tennessee.
