We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager with expertise in card issuing to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Product Manager specializing in card issuing, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ payment solutions by leveraging your expertise to analyze, optimize, and build card issuing platform(s). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in understanding the intricacies of card programs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of card issuing processes, identifying areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product business requirements related to card issuing.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices related to the market.
  • Ensure that card programs align with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Lead and contribute a project from scratch, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
  • Provide project updates, status reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders across organizational units and management teams to ensure comprehensive alignment throughout the company.
  • Compose business cases for new card product developments and oversee the collection of all product business requirements, drawing from input provided by commercial teams and other involved parties.
  • Establish key reporting mechanisms for issuing products, facilitating data-informed decisions within the business in a timely manner.
  • Vigilantly track compliance requirements from the payment card industry and actively participate in their analysis.

Qualifications and Tech Proficiency

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5+ years as a Product Manager or Product Owner in the payments domain with a focus on card issuing.
  • Thorough comprehension of the payment solutions and issuing services ecosystem.
  • Experience in a service company and proficiency in communicating with clients.
  • Strong understanding of card program management, including issuance, activation, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards related to payments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project management experience would be considered a big advantage.
