About This Opportunity 

The Property and Commercial Coordinator supports UQ’s diverse retail and residential property portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, managing our property portfolio, and ensuring smooth operations of the Commercial Business function.

You will be part of a supportive team of property professionals where you can grow your skills and knowledge while collaborating on exciting projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise property income and explore new revenue streams.

  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

  • Analyse rental market trends, conduct property valuations, and oversee lease renewals.

  • Maintain accurate property and lease data in our database.

  • Collect and process tenant sales data, prepare turnover rent billings, and manage audit certificates.

  • Oversee lease assignments and administration, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

  • Manage tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and lease variations.

About You

You will demonstrate previous experience in commercial property with a strong understanding of property concepts and principles. Excellent communication and customer service skills are crucial for building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders. The role demands a highly organised individual capable of meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks efficiently. A proven ability to analyse issues, solve problems, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience with property management systems and engagement in third-line revenue stakeholder interactions is desirable.

The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
