Job Summary:

Acrisure Wholesure is made up of some of the best-in-class entities that offer over 50 years of combined MGA and wholesale operations under one umbrella. We currently service over 50,000 plus retail insurance agencies across the United States.

Wholesure is partnering with USLI in a sales and insurance training program created to shape participants into elite salespeople who can drive new business opportunities.  Participants are part of an exclusive national program that affords them the opportunity to network with other professionals around the country who are also launching their careers.  When candidates qualify and are selected, they will become Junior Sales Representatives working within our Wholesure partners directly.

This role consists of a 24-month training and development program that will prepare the participant to become a sales professional.  The focus of the training program will be increasing new submissions, quotes and premium through the promotion of retail web based and telephone quoting systems. 

Responsibilities:

Increasing new submissions, quotes and premium by performing the following:

  • Conduct at least 20 meetings with customers (in person or via video) a week to demonstrate web and phone quoting capabilities and register new users in order to drive new business submissions in the door.

  • Weekly reporting of sales meetings that occurred each week and the forecasting of meetings scheduled for the upcoming weeks.

  • Timely follow up and continuous communication with customers/prospects to find out and take advantage of additional opportunities.

  • Systematic prospecting and arranging meetings with potential new customers, and with customers that have not reached their potential.

  • Identify and establish a relationship with the key contacts making sure we are doing business with the right people in each retail operation.

  • Work with their team to review web activity to spot trends positive and negative and addressing these trends immediately.

  • Establish an active relationship with Regional Sales Manager and regularly discuss strategy and tactics including sales issues, travel and follow up.

  • Pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan. This will require self-study.

Travel:

This is not a work from home position. Candidates are expected to work in the agency. The job does require overnight travel and the annual training conferences in Pennsylvania. Participants may travel locally to meet with prospects and clients and to attend networking events. They will be encouraged to participate in associations and conferences to further their network and understanding of the industry.

Education/Experience:

  • College degree OR equivalent business experience preferred but not required

  • Candidates will be expected to pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan. This will require self-study.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, networking and relationship ability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Remain flexible under the pressure of a heavy workload and critical deadlines.

  • Open to coaching and continuous improvement
