What to expect in this role
We are seeking a highly skilled LeadDevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blankfactor, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our CI/CD pipeline, automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our Kubernetes clusters in a multi-DC environment. Your expertise in AWS, scripting, and troubleshooting will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
AWS Infrastructure: Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Cloud Services: Implement and optimize AWS services, ensuring high
availability, scalability, and security.
Networking: Develop and manage networking architecture within AWS,
including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
CI/CD Pipeline: Lead the design and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline to
enable efficient and reliable software deployments.
Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and
configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
Kubernetes Management: Maintain and optimize our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring they meet production-grade standards, and work closely with Helm for application deployments.
Logging and Monitoring: Oversee the logging and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
Root Cause Analysis: Participate in the Root Cause Analysis process to identify and prevent recurring incidents.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
High Availability: Design and implement solutions that prioritize high availability and minimize downtime.
Scalability: Develop strategies for scaling infrastructure and applications to accommodate growing demands.
Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with development and NOC teams.
Communication: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
