Anaplan is looking for a passionate SeniorProduct Manager to help drive the development of our next generation of data integration and management capabilities. This person will be based in the UK and be instrumental in the execution of our product strategy, with data-driven and customer-oriented focus. This is a technical role at the heart of a complex enterprise product. 

Applicants should have a Product Management background ideally in the software industry with relevant experience in one of more of the following: multi-dimensional business planning, ETL, MDM or Data Management. Applicants would bring experience working with engineering teams to deliver products and solutions to the market, they would have to demonstrate that they will be able to learn a new market and understand the needs of our customers related to all things planning, modelling and analytics. 

Your Role 

  • Help define, maintain, and execute a strategy for our planning engine capabilities that aligns with the company’s overall product vision and market goals. 
  • Help oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, customer success, professional services, marketing, and sales. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and drive business growth. Effectively communicate plans through a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • Continuously analyse market trends and competitive landscape to guide the strategic direction of our planning and analysis capabilities and create compelling roadmaps to achieve our goals. Collaborate with, influence, and manage expectations of key stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure a consistent and coherent strategy. 
  • Work closely with Engineering colleagues to prioritize and align feature requirements and design choices. 
  • Collaborate with the product management peers and align on a common set of objectives to elevate customer outcomes. 
  • Engage with customers and partners to understand pain points and gaps in our current offering and work closely with go to market and customer success teams to provide clarity on best practices and modelling approaches. 

Your Qualifications 

  • Domain knowledge of one or more of multi-dimensional business planning, ETL, MDM or Data Management Anaplan solutions, and modelling / BI tools or similar technically demanding enterprise software systems.
  • High technical competence and a demonstrated ability to deal with complex enterprise software systems with a technical user-base. 
  • Sound understanding of data management and how this underpins business planning and analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of the product management lifecycle and launching new products.
  • Experience working closely with high-skilled Engineering teams. 
  • Proficiency in gathering and analysing market and customer insights. 
  • Experience in creating and delivering go-to-market enablement material to drive consistency. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with different subject matter experts. 
  • A passion for building communities and enabling people. 
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Able and willing to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
