Summary:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will specialize in building and optimizing analytical data solutions using SSAS, advanced DAX, SQL, and Azure Data Factory. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing and enhancing analytical models, writing complex DAX measures, DAX queries, optimizing cube performance, and orchestrating data pipelines using ADF. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-performing data solutions that support critical business reporting and analytics requirements. Your expertise in DAX, data modeling, and ETL processes will be instrumental in driving reliable and insightful data delivery across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as an SME in SSAS (Tabular), DAX, SQL optimization, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Lead and guide the team in building robust DAX measures, calculations, and data models for business analytics.
- Drive the development and optimization of SQL queries, SSAS cube structures, partitions, and aggregations to improve performance.
- Manage and collaborate with multiple teams to design and maintain end-to-end data workflows, including ADF pipelines and data transformations.
- Make key decisions related to data modeling, measure logic, semantic layer design, and ETL orchestration.
- Provide scalable solutions for technical challenges across DAX logic, cube performance, SQL tuning, and ADF integration.
- Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions focused on DAX best practices, ADF workflows, query tuning, and cube design.
- Mentor junior team members on writing efficient DAX, understanding SSAS models, SQL optimization, and building ADF pipelines to accelerate their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in DAX queries and the ability to write complex DAX calculations on top of SSAS Cube tables.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipeline creation, data flows, and integrations for enterprise data movement.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in writing DAX queries on top of SSAS Cube tables.
- The Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
