Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to utilize modern frameworks and agile practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will also be involved in problem-solving and decision-making processes that impact overall project outcomes, contributing to the continuous improvement of software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Collaborate with and manage the team to perform effectively.

Take responsibility for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for both immediate and cross-functional teams.

Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
Proficiency in Kubernetes.

Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.

Cloud experience, preferably Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

CI/CD experience, especially with GitHub / GitHub Actions.

Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Git workflows).

Strong understanding of container orchestration and microservices architecture.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and services related to Kubernetes.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD.

Experience with open-source platform tools like Kyverno, OpenTelemetry, NGINX.

Monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or Grafana.

Experience with Splunk, GitHub, GitHub Actions (additional exposure).

Additional Information
The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Kubernetes.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office, with flexibility for Pune.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
