What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking Data Scientist / Data Analytics Support to support a client in implementing and maintaining a portfolio of data reports and dashboards that meet the organizations regular, recurring and ad hoc business intelligence needs. The candidate should have experience working with clients to identify reporting requirements, developing dashboards/data visualizations, automating business processes, and building predictive models to inform decision-making for critical initiatives. The individual in this role would be expected to uncover hidden insights from data and also communicate findings to stakeholders in ways that are consumable and engaging. The candidate will also have experience with aggregating and cleaning data as required to support dashboards/data visualizations.  The individual will also coordinate data needs and report parameters with customers; and track and report status of report requests.

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelors degree in a relevant quantitative discipline such as computer science, information management, math, statistics, economics, finance, or business administration.

• FIVE (5) or more years of experience in data science, data analysis or data visualization

• Experience with MS Platform, including Power BI

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organization

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, quality, & customer service orientation

• M.S./M.A. in a relevant quantitative discipline such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics.

• Strong consulting skills, including identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, and driving initiatives forward
