As a Client Platform Integration Manager in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will be charged with enabling Micron’s Core Compute client business across the upcoming x86 platforms that will fortify Micron’s leadership position in the memory markets growing by expanding Artificial Intelligence (AI) to AI PC, demanding for performance and power efficiency.
You will lead a multi-functional team of key Micron collaborators from engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to enablement the next-generation client platforms that will use the entire DRAM memory portfolio.
As a Platform Integration Leader for Micron’s largest CPU partners, you will set a benchmark for the rest of the partner engagement activities by establishing an outstanding platform validation processes.
Ideal candidates are motivated leaders who can own all aspects of platform enablement with the entrepreneurial spirit required to build and optimize each solution continuously. The Client Platform Integration Manager will be a self-starter with a can-do demeanor who can apply their critical thinking and ability to influence multi-functionally to drive the best possible outcome!
Role and Responsibilities:
Be the subject matter authority in Micron on x86 platform roadmap, CPU architectures, features, market trends, business requirements to develop leadership features and outstanding products.
Own and drive the x-86 Platform validation function and forums for client application.
Drive platform validation across its life cycle from Roadmap alignment and New Product Introduction validations to the high-volume ramp with sustaining validations for follow-on products.
Participate in internal roadmap decision forums and regularly update executive leadership and collaborators on the overall progress of platform validation, identify risks and collaborate solutions to mitigate risks.
Be the primary owner to handle issue resolution during validation and communication of issues and solutions within Micron and with our CPU partners.
Continuously refine the platform validation process with enablers and Micron partners to deliver time-to-market leadership and strengthen partnerships.
Focus on partner experience and develop a metrics driven approach to improve engagement.
Establish, develop and be an excellent partner of preferential influence with key decision makers.
Qualifications and Education:
Deep understanding of the Compute platform architecture, client and mobile use cases, and validation processes.
Ability to address sophisticated business process issues by establishing processes and building partnerships with key partners.
5 or more years of engineering experience in validation, applications, or design within the client PC and memory space.
Understanding of AI application landscape and its implication on future platform & memory sub-system architecture
Excellent communication, presentation capabilities with customer-facing experience.
Experience leading multi-functional teams across multiple sites as an individual contributor.
You will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Science or a related field.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$116,500.00 - $266,500.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
