Description

Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a Junior Analyst to join our Treasury Operations team within our Trading Services department. This individual will be involved with all aspects of operations, including, but not limited to, trade support, cash management, corporate actions, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Daily portfolio trade, cash and position reconciliations between internal records, administrator and the brokers for all product types
  • Ensure the accuracy of trade bookings, pricing and other deliverables
  • Confirm post-settlement payments for all instruments, including interest rate, credit and equity swaps
  • Swap affirmation and confirmation
  • Analyze FX exposure and coordinate execution for various entities
  • Issue and respond to daily margin movements
    • Comparison of broker valuations
    • Identification, escalation and resolution to margin disputes
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of reports distributed to Senior Management
  • Work closely with Middle Office, Fund Accounting, IT and Investor Service teams to identify issues and participate in their resolution
  • Participate in operations related projects and respond to ad-hoc requests
  • Engage in relevant industry initiatives and developments

 Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 0-2 years of treasury or finance experience
  • Understanding of trading operations and post trade processing
  • Knowledge of cleared and OTC derivatives, FX, equities and fixed income markets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce accurate work
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute ideas toward improving current processes
  • Advanced user of Word, Excel, and Windows. 
  • Basic knowledge of Bloomberg a plus

All employees are required to commute into our office Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. This policy is subject to change.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
