What you bring to SBHG:

  • AA degree + 5 years experience in a Mental Health field.
  • Bachelors Degree + 4 years full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services in a mental health, health care, or other social services agency/organization OR Masters degree in a related field + 2 years of experience as above
  • Six years’ experience, specifically in areas of Mental Health field with troubled youth, Juvenile Court System or Youth Public Benefits programs.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and current clear DMV printout.
  • MFT or LCSW intern preferred

How you will make a difference:

This position has primary responsibility for assisting the Center Director in directing and supervising program staff and providing back-up to the Center Director during his/her temporary absences. The Program Coordinator may be responsible for the daily activities and operation of the Center, including direction to staff and problem solving. S/he maintains liaison with county and state agencies, community organizations and other organizations. S/he oversees the client intake and admission process and has primary responsibility for oversight and coordination of all referrals.

Division/Program Overview:

  • Oasis Vocational Center provides vocational rehabilitation services to prepare and keep people employed.
  • Working in conjunction with mental health service providers and the Department of Rehabilitation to assist clients in reaching their employment and career goals through:
    • Job coaching and training opportunities
    • Job development with employers
    • Identifying job opportunities and job placement based on client interest
    • Provide ongoing Job Support
