Governance & ControlJob Description:
The G&C Analyst II is responsible for QA reviews within Commercial Loan Operations and Servicing to help strengthen processes conducted by Core Operations QA Methodology. This role will collaborate with Control Framework partners across Core Operations, as well Operations Leadership. The G&C Analyst I will be the functional processor of QA reviews and reporting results to business partners. Position will perform higher complexity of QA reviews, administrative tasks involved in checking and verifying team's work, as well as information processed by other business areas. Ensures reviewed materials are accurate and complete and evaluates materials against quality control models to detect irregularities. Employs knowledge of business line processes, procedures, and typical business practices to evaluate work. May make recommendations to management for improvement in processes related to reviews or areas of evaluation.
The Governance & Control Analyst II provides broad business governance and control related process, research, evaluation, operations, testing, reporting and/or analytical support for assigned area/specialization and/or function.
Depth & Scope:
• Professional role with a focus on providing functional specialized business services, advisory or process/program support for own area of specialty, within defined parameters
• Requires sound conceptual knowledge in their own field of specialty
• Investigates and analyzes potential solutions; ensures processes and functional programs are implemented
• Executes on work with some complexity; generally requiring short to medium-term focus (weekly-monthly)
• Accountable for own work and effective coordination of processes and information across related teams
• Delivers on assigned initiatives/projects/programs with some direction from management
Education & Experience:
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• 2+ years relevant experience
• Fundamental knowledge of governance, risk and control procedures, strategies & tactics
• Knowledge of current and emerging trends
• Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
• Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
• Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
• Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
• Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion/or guidance as appropriate

performance/ processes/ initiatives, operational and/or analytical support
• Develops and/or prepares applicable business metrics/standard/ad hoc reporting in collaboration with partners and
stakeholders to support decisions
• Reviews processes and controls and identifies issues and control deficiencies in order to increase standardization of
solutions, processes and controls
• Supports the integrated implementation of policies/processes/procedures/changes across multiple functional areas
•Understands business objectives and contributes by recommending appropriate actions based on analysis and review of
results within assigned scope
