The Instance Life Cycle (ILC) Department hosts all of Murex’s service offers and aims for Murex to be the partner of choice to our clients.

Role & Responsibilities

Partner with the Project Manager to run the project smoothly, by taking ownership of some project management activities, and ensure high quality of project management & delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide assistance to Project Managers and project team on Project management disciplines (Time management, cost management, Planning management, quality management, communication management, people management and scope management) :

  • Be responsible for guiding Project Managers on Murex Project Management Methodology and assist Project Managers in deployment/fine-tuning of the processes to projects

  • Coordinate project communication across internal project team and interested parties

  • Organize project meetings & take minutes incl. action follow-ups with the team

  • Own Incident Management, Release Management & Work Environment Mgmt

  • Identify risks and escalate to Murex Project Manager (budget, planning, …)

  • Contribute to Project Reviews to control quality and methodology application

  • Assist in Project Reporting to internal management & client project managers

  • Assist PM in managing budget, project time/expense validation/analysis, financial data (invoicing with CSO, forecast with CSO/finance)

  • Perform regular project quality checkpoint on projects and share feedback & recommended corrective actions with Project Manager

To be successful in the role, you should possess/be:

  • 4-8 years of PMO experience

  • Organization skills, for example ability to ensure an efficient organization of workshops & trainings with client and team members

  • Coordination: Ability to coordinate project activities (eg design, build, test campaign, deployment) to ensure smooth execution and outcome as per expectation

  • Cognitive skills: Ability to analyze data (eg issue log stats, budget KPI), bring insight on content, raise inconsistencies, and synthesize outcome of the data analysis.

  • Communication skills, for example ability to write clear reports (emails, weekly slides, Management report, etc) and ability to communicate verbally and deliver the key messages from the outcome of an analysis

  • Advanced users of MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint & Excel, Jira

  • Fast learner for immediate added value

  • Proactiveness to expand the contribution & inpact to the project

  • Hands-on exposure to IT SDLC

  • Project methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, CI/CD

  • Ability to foresee challenges and dependencies

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
