Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Technology Analyst with 5 to 8 yrs. experience in managing and maintaining Linux-based systems, coupled with proficiency in AWS administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our Linux infrastructure while also contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers and associated systems, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security including vulnerability management.
• Configure and manage AWS virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and other AWS networking components and services.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and software applications in both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages) to streamline routine tasks and workflows.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems and AWS services.
• Monitor AWS and on-prem Linux servers, analyze usage patterns, optimize costs and performance.
• Implement and manage patch management and configuration management tools  
• Basic administration of virtualization environment.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project initiatives and deliver integrated solutions.

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Qualifications:

MCA/B-Tech in computer science or Information Technology

Certifications – Desirable

• RHEL
• RHCSA
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
