Team Member Experience Manager

Pay Details:

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $95,000 to $115,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

We are seeking a passionate and creative Team Member Experience Manager to lead the design and delivery of programs that foster connection, engagement, and appreciation across our dynamic, customer-facing organization, OC Sports & Entertainment (OCSE). This role plays a key part in shaping a positive and inclusive team culture, overseeing engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and planning and executing events for team members.

The ideal candidate is people-first, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with experience driving culture and morale-building efforts in high-volume environments such as hospitality, retail, or entertainment.

Responsibilities

Team Member Engagement

  • Design and execute engagement strategies that align with organizational values and culture

  • Support HR Business Partners, Team Members Relations, and enterprise Centers of Excellence (COE) teams with local team member engagement surveys and related action planning

  • Support local leaders in driving grassroots engagement through toolkits, guidance, and best practices

  • Track engagement KPIs and provide reporting to HR leadership

Recognition & Appreciation

  • Manage the OCSE team member recognition program (e.g., peer-to-peer, leader-led, and milestone-based awards) following the enterprise framework

  • Develop creative ways to celebrate service anniversaries, achievements, and team wins across all levels

  • Partner with internal communications to amplify recognition stories and highlight culture champions

Team Member Events & Culture Moments

  • Plan and execute internal team member events

  • Oversee the logistics, communications, and coordination for both virtual and in-person experiences

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Facilities, Operations, DEI, Communications) to align events with business rhythm and seasonal needs

Culture & Belonging

  • Support the delivery of culture and inclusion programs that promote belonging and team member connection at OCSE

  • Partner with enterprise DEI and HRBPs to amplify inclusive experiences for all roles and backgrounds at OCSE to live our values

  • Be a visible ambassador of our culture; support new hire integration and promote OCSE shared values

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–5 years in employee engagement, internal communications, events, or HR in a hospitality, retail, or entertainment environment

  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute large-scale internal events and recognition programs

  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • Proficient in MS Office, event platforms, and survey tools (e.g., Workday Peakon, Culture Amp, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)

Preferred Attributes:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

  • Passion for hospitality, people-first cultures, and making work feel meaningful and fun

  • Comfortable engaging with hourly, field, and corporate team members alike
