Job Description Summary

The Total Rewards Leader for the Wind Segment plays a critical leadership role in shaping, governing, and executing global compensation and total rewards strategies across one of three major business segment of GE Vernova. This leader will serve as a strategic advisor to the Wind Senior HR and ELT Leadership Teams and the Global Total Rewards COE, driving a unified rewards philosophy that accelerates transformation, talent growth, and organizational performance.

This role demands a balance of strategic vision, operational excellence, and external insight to craft competitive, equitable, and sustainable reward solutions. The role partners closely with Wind Segment Finance, HR, and Business leadership to ensure reward strategies align with business priorities, M&A integration imperatives, and financial performance objectives.

This position reports to the Global Head of Total Rewards, with a strong matrix partnership to the segment HR and business leadership teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Total Rewards agenda across the Wind Segment, shaping and executing a cohesive compensation strategy aligned with the company’s transformation, growth, and digitalization goals.
  • Serve as a key member and trusted advisor to Wind HR Senior Leadership team.
  • Serve as a key member of the Total Rewards Senior Leadership Team, partnering with the Corporate Total Rewards COE to shape enterprise‑level program design, ensure consistent policy governance, and drive effective deployment within the segment.
  • Lead annual and off‑cycle compensation planning across all levels (budgeting, merit, incentives, and promotions), ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment to business outcomes, while overseeing executive compensation for the segment in partnership with the Corporate Executive Compensation team.
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of compensation and benefits programs across the Wind Segment, including during M&A and portfolio integration activities, ensuring consistent and competitive practices aligned with enterprise‑level principles.
  • Lead external benchmarking, market intelligence, and workforce analytics to guide proactive talent and compensation decisions.
  • Monitor global and regional regulatory trends, adapting programs to maintain compliance and competitiveness across multiple geographies.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team supporting the segment; coach and mentor TR professionals to strengthen technical, analytical, and consultative capabilities.
  • Drive capability-building across HRBPs and business leaders to strengthen rewards acumen and decision-making.
  • Collaborate across HR, Finance, and Legal to align pay philosophy, internal equity, and external competitiveness, and to design compliant, risk‑managed, and financially sustainable total rewards programs.
  • Support communication and change management for total rewards initiatives, ensuring transparency and employee understanding globally.

Qualifications

  • Extensive progressive experience in global Total Rewards leadership roles across complex, matrixed, and multinational organizations.
  • Proven expertise in executive compensation, global mobility, M&A integration, and compensation governance.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into impactful reward strategies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership skills.
  • Experience leading distributed teams and partnering across regions and functions.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
