The Finance Supervisor at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics in Orlando, FL will oversee processes and controls for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and procedures. This role involves developing process improvements, leading audits, accounting workflows, and managing a team of two analysts.

What You’ll Work On

• Direct the day-to-day operations of direct reports

• Participate in all Site Audits and develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external auditors

• Recruit, train and provide development, performance management, supervision, and mentoring for the Business Process and Controls team

• Ensures that proper internal controls are operating effectively

• Responsible for the implementation of new controls as needed

• Build and enhance relationships with internal business

• Identify areas that need improvement and take action to bring improvements to life

• Support ad-hoc requests by leadership

• Design reports & analytical measures to report and improve on performance metrics

• Maintain the month end documentation to comply with GAAP

• Collaborate with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives

• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Support Controller and Director with special projects and workflow process improvements

Required Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance

• 5+ years in accounting/audit with 2+ years in leading teams or projects

• Knowledge of accounting principles, software and databases

• Strong data analysis and advanced Excel skills

• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication

• Manages multiple priorities with a strong work ethic

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and/or MBA

• Experience with SAP or HFM

• Proficiency with business analytics tools (PowerBI preferred)

     

The base pay for this position is

$83,000.00 – $166,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
