CBA is seeking an experienced AI strategy and partnerships senior manager to join our award-winning, globally recognized AI team. This role is redefining how CBA delivers most loved customer experiences, building and partnering with global ai ecosystem to co-build innovative world-first solutions that enhance the lives of customers and employees.

The AI Partnerships senior manager role is a crucial role, responsible for shaping CBA's AI strategy and fostering strategic partnerships to drive innovation and business growth. The focus is on identifying and cultivating opportunities that future-proof CBA, ensuring access to critical skills, co-developing industry-leading products and services, and advocating for the responsible use of AI.

The ideal candidate will drive exceptional experiences through the use of Artificial Intelligence across the enterprise. The candidate should have a passion for AI, digital, and change agility to ignite this growth.

Role responsibilities:

  • Strategy Leadership: Leading the development of a comprehensive AI strategy aligned to CBA's vision and business objectives, driving the adoption of AI technologies across business units to enhance operational efficiencies and customer experience.

  • Market Analysis: Conducting in-depth market analysis and research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities in the AI landscape, staying abreast of industry developments, competitive dynamics, and regulatory trends to inform CBA's AI strategy.

  • Partnership Development: Developing partnership opportunities with stakeholders in the AI ecosystem, including technology providers, start-ups, academic institutions, and industry to access the latest technology/applications, secure key skills, and shape responsible use.

  • Innovation: Driving innovation initiatives to harness the power of AI in redefining CBA's business processes, customer experiences, and revenue streams, developing and validating proofs of concept and experiments to demonstrate the value of these technologies.

  • Engagement: Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams, including product development, engineering, marketing, and sales, to integrate AI capabilities into CBA's products, services, and operations, championing a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization.

What you bring:

  • Deep experience in AI applications and understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics, complemented with a proven understanding of the AI partner landscape in Australia and globally.

  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills with the ability to influence at an Executive level, both internal and external to CBA.

  • Extensive experience in partnership development, maintenance, and maximizing these partnerships, designing enterprise-wide partnership strategies, and forging commercial relationships to build innovative products and experiences.

  • A proven track record of success in developing and delivering customer-focused technology/AI strategies in a corporate, startup, tech, or consulting environment.

  • Certifications in AI, machine learning, or related fields are highly regarded.

  • Experience in a leadership role within the AI or technology sector.

  • Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution, business transformation, and operational excellence with a focus on AI and digital technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can establish key partnerships and drive initiatives that leverage AI technology across CBA's product and service offerings.
