The Team
The Group Delivery Practice team is in place to empower the Delivery community to develop, collaborate and deliver in a safe, sound and secure way for better customer outcomes. Taking the lead on the respective career learning and development for this strategic delivery skillset.
Working across the Delivery Coaching, Business Analysis, Delivery & Change Management, our role is to set the strategic direction, define ways of working, increase Practice maturity and deliver people experience for our practitioners.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager Delivery Practice Lead, you will focus on enabling agility, future ways of working and delivering end to end change in line with our business and technology strategy.
You will support and enable the business by ensuring we adopt a disciplined approach for introducing change to the organisation through management, processing, and interpretation of data in order to identify and define the solution that will maximise the value delivered by the organisation for our stakeholders.
This role will have responsibility across the Group for all business and support units, and the ideal candidate must have significant experience in delivery, agile ways of working, human centred design, customer experience and relationship management, and the ability to drive & build a strategy in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking applications for those who are interested in taking on horizontal leadership responsibilities. This role will support Group wide within the Pace model, with a key focus on enabling the capability and uplift of our Delivery Practice Community.
Key responsibilities
Define and establish capability (People, Process & Technology) within the Delivery Practice to ensure the bank optimises its use of existing data and technology services, and can readily adopt and integrate new, innovative and emerging techniques and services that best support our customer needs and Group Strategy to reimagine banking
Delivery of components across practices and/or support the delivery of components aligned to our Pace model
Support Chapter Area Leads / Chapter Leads to build capability and lead inspired engaged teams
Set guardrails, frameworks and standards that apply across there Group through end to end solutions
Simplify and enhance processes and tools to enable velocity in the delivery of outcomes
Implements, evolve and support consistent ways of working across the Practice and CBA business that align to industry standard
Leverage metrics and data to inform continuous improvement opportunities that increase Delivery effectiveness
Uplift Practice maturity by fostering a culture of sharing, learning and problem solving across the Practice
Facilitates the constructive resolution of conflicts which may arise both internally and externally to the Practice
Qualifications & Experience
You will be focused on building and operating Group wide solutions to be delivered in alignment with Group principles and practices
You should understand how to build cross business relationships to facilitate decision making, manage risks and create advocacy for the function
You are a systems thinker who promotes business agility and a culture of continuous improvement
Tou will have significant Delivery experience (Consulting, Project Management, Change Management)
You will be familiar with Agile Ways of Working
You have experience in driving end to end solutions across people, process, and technologies
You are an expert Business and Technology Strategist with a senior consulting background who thrives in a rapidly changing and evolving landscape with an eye on tomorrow.
