As a Senior Practice Lead within Professional Services, you are responsible for the management of an implementation delivery team which may include Consultants, Project Managers and Practice Leads  and overall success of customer projects in your portfolio, with a high degree of autonomy.  You will work closely with Sales on delivering winning and competitive Professional Service proposals to Kyriba prospects, with a high level of autonomy.  You will be constantly engaged with internal and external senior/executive management.  A strong understanding of the various PS KPIs will be required to ensure the correct decisions are being managed and accurate reporting is presented to Professional Services senior management (Practice Directors, VP and CxO). This role will report either into the regional Practice Director.

You will have a team of direct reports who will be responsible for the delivery of functional, connectivity, project management project work and professional services pre-sales across the portfolio of customer implementations and partner projects. You will be responsible for organizing and delegating work to other members of the team, both for project and professional services pre-sales work, as well as assigning priorities and performing arbitrations for other members of the assigned team.

  

You will be responsible for managing and resolving client escalations, act as a stakeholder on strategic implementations, pre-sales scoping, work with Sales and Product on strategic regional enhancements, and partner enablement.  You will work closely with Kyriba Support, Account Management, Client Success Managers, and other departments within Kyriba.   For your team of direct reports, you will be responsible for setting their goals, providing mentorship and opportunities for career growth.  

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service to customers and partners 

  • Continue to remain current on the Kyriba Offering by following ELMS and Kyriba Academy training

  • Develop new skills related to the product, industry, and market trends 

  • Attend internal product training sessions and webinars to increase knowledge of product offerings and roadmap 

  • Have a deep understanding of the Kyriba implementation methodology and how it can be tailored for different customer situations 

  • Ability to effectively report on project health of portfolio being managed

  • Ability to proactively identify risks as well as offer actionable solutions with a high level of autonomy

  • Ability to provide selective communication to senior management on risks, issues and mitigating actions, based on business stakes

  • Ability to plan, organize and delegate work to other members of the team, including project work, pre-sales activities as well as Kyriba internal initiatives, with a high degree of autonomy

  • Responsible for the managed team’s capacity planning and strong involvement in hiring, team development actions and organizational decisions

  • Responsible for the growth and mentorship of direct reports

  • Offer support to direct reports and cultivate a culture of innovation, efficiency, and client centric behavior 

  • Encourage cross-departmental collaboration to come up with solutions

  • Understand and report on KPI’s related to direct reports and your portfolio 

  • Engage in strategic pre-sales deal and provide support to Sales

  • Able to fully scope prospect requirements and craft a Statement of Work and effort estimate 

  • Manage project and resource margin on internal and sub-contracted projects 

  • Manage resource capacity, team billable utilization and project assignment 

  • Contributes to Center of Excellence continuous improvement plan 

  • Maintain a 55% billable utilization 

  • Ability to make decisions with customers on stakeholder calls 

  • Manage projects in OA by updating planned hours and go-live dates

  • Review and resolve customer disputes on invoices and time booking 

  • Ensure the team has accurate time entry data on their timesheets 

  • Responsible for direct report’s weekly timesheet submission timeliness and month end process

Qualifications

  • 6 – 10+ years’ experience in Professional Services, Support or Consulting, ideally in the treasury/financial systems industry

  • Candidate must be Fluent in English 

  • Experience with a prior TMS a plus 

  • Baccalaureate or Graduate degrees in Business or Finance or relevant work experience

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment 

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage large sets of data 

  • Excellent time management skills as multiple clients and projects will be managed simultaneously

  • Travel maybe required for client or partner visits
